I write this in my old school room in Seattle. My DSL connection at home is not yet up and running. I've been asked if I am experiencing culture shock. My answer is that it feels like electrocution. The KGB or whoever is in charge here hasn't made me feel any safer.
There is much to write about, but I need to tie up loose Bohemian ends. Those are all on my ibook at home. When the DSL connection is up I will post the last of the Bohemian essays, about sex, about travel, about the end of the school year and about breaking ties with the school and my partner. Then I will launch into the return. This is only a promissory note.
